Organised by WellChild
For many families and professionals, the word “palliative” can feel frightening; it is often mistaken as a sign that support is being withdrawn, or that hope is running out.
In this free online session for parents and carers, WellChild will explain what paediatric palliative care really means: not the withdrawal of support, but the addition of care. The session will explore how palliative care focuses on ensuring children and young people achieve the best possible quality of life, alongside effective, proactive symptom management throughout their lives.
