About the Event:
Cookies & Canines is a relaxed, accessible, LGBTQIA+ and disability-inclusive monthly social for dog lovers run by Pawsitive Action Leeds. You do not need to own a dog to come along—all dog enthusiasts and allies are warmly welcomed.
This month features a hands-on themed workshop: DIY Dog Toys!
Attendees will be having a go at turning everyday household items into fun, engaging DIY enrichment toys for dogs. No crafting expertise or artistic skill required—wonky creations are celebrated!
What to Bring:
* Old T-shirts you do not mind cutting up
* Spare cardboard toilet roll / kitchen roll tubes
Future Themes & Getting Involved:
Going forward, each Cookies & Canines social will feature a dedicated theme exploring practical, interesting, or fun topics alongside the usual coffee, conversation, and dog appreciation. If you have an idea for an upcoming session, would like to share expertise on a canine topic, or want to discuss a disability-related subject, the organisers would love to hear from you.
