About this Event
Is your child struggling to attend school due to feelings of worry or stress? Emotionally Based School Avoidance (EBSA) can be a difficult journey for both children and parents, but you don’t have to navigate it alone.
Join a supportive, four-week programme delivered by the City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council’s Educational Psychologist Team. These sessions are designed to provide a safe space for parents to share their experiences, listen to others in similar situations, and gain practical ideas to support their child’s wellbeing and school engagement.
What to Expect:
-
Peer Support: Connect with other parents facing similar challenges.
-
Expert Guidance: Learn what you can do to support your child and what expectations to have of the school system.
-
Safe Environment: A friendly, supportive atmosphere to discuss concerns openly.
