NeuroAware CIC is a new initiative in County Durham, and is dedicated to supporting neurodiverse minds and the people who care for them. Our mission is to empower neurodiverse individuals and parents and carers of SEND children.
We offer-:
- Support and resources for neurodiverse individuals
- Guidance, advocacy and support for parents and carers of SEND children, particularly in relation to EHCPs, SEN Tribunals, school communication and DLA forms
- Community-based training to improve awareness and inclusion
- An online-based support group, wellbeing sessions, coffee mornings and day trips.
