This is a perfect event to work towards, keeping you motivated and moving this summer. Eton Dorney is perfect for wheelchair users in particular as the course is all on a flat, tarmac surface.
We ask all those taking part to commit to raising funds to transform the lives of those with physical disabilities by providing them with opportunities to get moving, get active and play sport, with a target of £250 per team or individual participant.
Who can join the lakeside missions:
There are three super distances to choose from & many super ways to take part in these super-fun & flexible tri challenges. You can fly solo & take on all three stages (a swim, cycle & push/run for any tri newbies out there), share the fun in a team relay, or Superheroes can recruit Sidekick teammates to tow, push & pull them around the entire course!
Who can join the Superhero Tri missions: Everyone is welcome. All we ask is that all solo entrants, or at least one team member, considers themselves to have a disability of any kind.
Sprint Superhero Tri: Swim 150m, Bike 3km, Push/run 1km
Half Superhero Tri: Swim 400m, Bike 10km, Push/run 2.5km
Full Superhero Tri: Swim 750m, Bike 20km, Push/run 5km
Each solo entrant & team member gets:
– Memento medal
– Finisher’s T-shirt
– The chance to be a Superhero for the day. Priceless
