About the Event: The Toby Henderson Trust is hosting a free introductory Makaton workshop for families, delivered by licensed Makaton Tutor Anna Melling from Talk to the Hand Makaton Training.
This friendly, practical session is designed to help parents, carers, and family members support their person’s communication. Attendees will learn 34 core concepts, everyday signs, and symbols tailored to support communication in day-to-day life, both at home and within the community.
Who Can Attend: This workshop is suitable for parents, carers, and family members aged 14 and over living within the South Tyneside area.
