Mind the Gap

Based in Bradford, Mind the Gap is England’s leading learning disability performance and live art company. We make bold, world-class performance and live art events. Our Academy provides a range of different theatre training courses for people with learning disabilities and autism to nurture and develop talents and skills.

We run a range of courses for students aged 18 plus and a new Youth Theatre starting in October 2023 is for children and young people aged 11 – 19.

In partnership with Bradford Council we facilitate a Youth Academy for children aged 8 – 18 years of age through Short Breaks funding.

All year round we offer, free taster sessions and work with schools and colleges to create transition opportunities for young people with learning disabilities and/or autism aspiring to a life in the creative arts.
