About The CANN Network
Connecting Communities Across Regions
The CANN Network (Children’s Additional Needs Network) is a collaborative platform uniting charities, community groups, and statutory organisations across West Yorkshire, South Yorkshire, the North East, and South West England. Our mission is to improve communication, share best practices, and enhance support for families and carers of children and young people with additional needs.
Originally founded as Leeds CANN in 2016, the network has grown to include over 40 member organisations, ranging from national charities to local grassroots groups. Through shared resources, training opportunities, and joint initiatives, we aim to create a more informed, inclusive, and accessible environment for families navigating additional needs.
Our website acts as a central hub, offering easy access to information, services, and support across the regions. Visitors can explore member profiles, discover events, and connect directly with organisations working in health, education, social care, and community support.
Whether you’re a parent, carer, professional, or charity, The CANN Network is here to help you find the right support, when you need it most.
